Palette knives as painting tools are a little less common than brushes and are a lot more fun. We will be working on an impressionist painting form a reference photograph as part of the workshop. The focus will be on capturing the mood of the picture rather than the details. We will play around with colour and texture that the palette knife can give and learn creating various strokes using the knife.
The workshop is open to beginners as well as seasoned artists. The participants will be working with acrylics on canvas board. After the session, all the participants will be sent a PDF on the basics of knife painting for a deeper understanding of the tool and for future reference.
