Interdisciplinary Workshop on
Design and Development of
(Mechanisms & Real Time Flying)
Date: 6th August 2014
Flapping Wing Mavs, Or Ornithopters, have several advantages compared with rotary and fixed wing because they are less noisy, easily maneuverable, high power efficiency at low speed flight and durable. Recent advances in small - scale flapping - wing micro aerial vehicles have extended the capabilities of flight control for a number of applications, such as intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance activities.
This workshop focuses on construction and assembly of 20cm wingspan and 10g FWVs namely "Golden Snitch" which is designed and developed by Tamkang University, Taiwan.
Workshop Structure and Topics Covered:
Awards & Certificate:
(For Ornithopter flying for long time and award includes one set of Ornithopter)
