For most of us, moisturisers are an indispensable part of our skincare regimen - but how can we find products that are both safe for our bodies and for the environment?

Join me in an interactive organic cream making workshop for beginners. I will explain and demonstrate everything you need to know about making your own creams, so that you never have to buy them again. You will know how to achieve a product that absorbs perfectly into your skin without leaving an oily residue like many other DIY recipes.

During this workshop you will be introduced to a range of specialist skin care oils, extracts and additives and understand how they benefit different skin types and help treat a variety of skin conditions. You will learn how to enhance your products so that they feel silkier and smoother, thicker or thinner, richer or lighter when applied and understand which ingredients will help them penetrate the skin better.

 Content-

• The advantages of making your own creams
• Using equipment - being safe, hygienic and measuring accurately (warning there may be some maths here!)
• Behaviour, active properties and benefits of a range of cosmetic ingredients including:
  carrier oils, butters and waxes 
  floral waters and essential oils 
  emulsifiers, antioxidants and preservatives 
  extracts and vitamins  
• Ingredients to enhance the feel, behaviour and effectiveness of your products
• Treating skin conditions and ailments
• Packaging and storing your products
• Product shelf life

About the Trainer:

Dr Gauri Bobhate is a Homeopathic Doctor, licensed cosmetologist and an expert in aesthetic treatments.With over 12 years experience in the medical field, her choice of skin/hair and wellness treatments are organic and pure. Sometimes even from the cupboards of your own kitchen! She is qualified Organic Skin Care formulator from Formula Botanica UK.

She conducts her own creative workshops across India empowering men and women across all ages with live stations on cold pressed soaps, skin care products, nutrition, lifestyle etc.

She currently owns and runs a clinic in Mumbai, writes a successful blog and is an influencial speaker on health & wellness.
