Technical communication is the art and science of making complex information easier to understand and use. Over the last couple of decades, the technical communication profession has grown rapidly in India, especially in the IT industry, and is now fast becoming a sought-after career option. To equip IT professionals and students with professional technical writing skills, CSI and TWIN are offering a 1-day hands-on workshop. 

Course Overview:

Foundation Concepts: Introduces technical communication concepts and the technical communication process.
Writing Effectively: Discusses basic writing concepts, grammar rules, technical writing style, and punctuation.  In addition, it discusses how to write consistently and clearly.

Information Architecture and User/Task Analysis: Discusses techniques to organize information in a document.
Information Design: Discusses page design, typography, visual elements (tables, pictures, and so on), headings, white spaces, designing a page, and so on.
