Bring in the new year in this campsite hidden away from the loud city bustles and indulge in one of the best camping experiences and end the year in “raw” style!
Our Ghatghar Lake campsite near Samrad village, surrounded by blue waters, is the perfect getaway for city travellers! And the cherry on top – it is EXCLUSIVELY for us! So it sums up for a complete uninterrupted experience!
With campfire, board games, home cooked food, we’re looking forward to meeting new people and having great conversations under the open sky. As the party unfolds, watch the moon reflecting on the silent waters
What’s the plan? Meet us at Dadar - Pritam Dhaba at 2:00 pm on 31st December. Pick up point will also be at Thane: 2.30pm
OR You can reach the campsite in your own vehicle, we will help you out with the route. (reduced cost).
Once the bus drops us near Ghatghar, the campsite is a 2min walk away. The travel time from Mumbai to the campsite will take approx. 3 – 4hrs.
On reaching the campsite, it’s time for a fun ice-breaking session! Post session, we settle down in our tents, freshen up and get ready for the mouthwatering local homemade food! And finally, it’s time to celebrate!
Spend the night with some fun board games, playing a round of cards. Also, enjoy the sizzling bonfire and sway your hips away to the catchy music! Or you can also enjoy the serenity and calmness of the place and lay under the starlit skies and experience this magical ambience.
Wake up and begin your new year in this tranquil atmosphere and witness the first glorious sunrise of the year with a garam chai ki pyaali and some piping hot and delicious Maggi! (The best combo ever to begin the year with!)
Leave the campsite after breakfast. Check in: 7 pm on 31st Dec Check out: 10 am on 1st Jan

Join our team as we take you to nearby Samrad village which houses the famous Sandhan Valley and Kokankada.
Kokankada is a gigantic cliff 1800-2000ft high which offers incredible views of the surrounding areas. Sandhan Valley is a very adventurous trek and is famous for its huge boulders and 300ft wall on both sides. We will be visiting only the start point of the valley. Sounds like a plan? Tag along and take back the home a lot of memories and new friends!
Cost: 1800/- (Mumbai to Mumbai) 1550/- (For people reaching the campsite directly) (All cost inclusive of 5% GST.)
Inclusions: Mumbai to Mumbai Travelling. Evening tea snacks, veg/non-veg starters, dinner veg/non-veg, day 2 breakfast. Campfire. Tent stay with mat, Day 2: Kokankada and Sandhan valley visit. Safety And First Aid. Mapping Journeys team along with. Camping Permissions and forest entry fees.
Exclusions:
Meals during travel. Personal expenses, Day 2: Lunch (you can let us know when you arrive at the site) Insurance of any kind. Medical hospitalization, evacuation and related expenses. Any item not covered under “inclusions”. Smoking and consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited. If anyone found doing the same, will be debarred without refund.
