Be it the elegant ‘Tussar’ and Matka silk from Bihar or the famous Kantha, Baluchari, Shanti Niketan Silk Appliqué, Tangail from West Bengal, one can see all these fabrics displayed in one place, direct from the makers who are gathering from various parts of the country.
The exhibition-cum-sale, which will be organised from 8th to 12th August 2019 will have stalls featuring saris, duppattas and salwar materials in different designs and patterns which include Chanderi and Maheshwari sarees and suits along with cotton dress materials from Madhya Pradesh; traditional bandhni, Patola saree & kutch embroidery from Gujarat; Lucknow chikan work, Banarasi Silk Saree, Jamdani, Jamawar and Tancholi silk sarees from Uttar Pradesh and embroidered silk & pashmina shawls from Jammu & Kashmir.
The expo will also offer a range of Coimbatore cottons, Kanjeewaram silk from Tamil Nadu, silk, crepe & georgette saree, raw silk material from Karnataka, Kalamkari, Pochampally, Mangalgiri dress material, Upada, Gadwal, Dharmawaram from Andhra Pradesh, Muga silk from Assam etc.
The entire range of sarees and dress materials will be striking as well as graceful with bunch of Bandhej, Bandhni silk saree, Jaipur Kurti, Badmer & Block Prints, Applique work Sanganeri Prints, Kota Doria & Gems & Polki Jewellery from Rajasthan along with zari paithani saree from Maharashtra and much products of silk and cotton from all over India.
