The Loser is a solo act depicting the ups and downs of an aspiring writer, Dipen Mishra, forced to sacrifice his literary ambitions for a boring life as a software engineer. Frustrated and upset, he decides to find ways to keep himself entertained in the office by seeking out loopholes to poke fun at, mentally sorting his colleagues into humorous lists. The play is based on Dipen Ambalia’s book Life of a Software Engineer.

About Naatakwale:
This theatre company was founded in 2013, by Debanshu Shekhar, a Delhi University graduate and an alumnus of Bhartendu Natya Academy, Lucknow. Besides performing, they exchange key drama techniques and conduct theatre workshops, especially for kids and youth. Innovation and experimentation in theatrical arts are the driving forces behind this troupe.
