Kalsubai is a mountain (1646 meters) of the Sahyadris range located in the Bhandardara region. Its summit situated at an elevation of 5400 feet is the highest point in Maharashtra which earns it the much glorified title of the 'Everest of Maharashtra'.

At the summit is a small temple of Kalsubai. This being the highest peak, it commands a beautiful view. The vastly spread out backwaters of Bhandardara attracts ones attention from the top. To the north of the mountain range forts such as Ramsej, Harihargad, Brahmagiri, Anjaneri, Ghargad, Bahula, Tringalwadi, Kavnai can be seen. To the east one can spot Aundha, Vishramgad, Bitangad, to the west Alang, Madangad, Kulang, Ratangad (south west) and to the south Pabhargad, Ghanchakkar, Harishchandragad can be seen.

The itinerary for trek is:

Meeting at : Pritam Hotel Dadar East Saturday (17th June) 11.00pm
Pick up Points : Nitin Company Junction , Thane 11.45 pm.

Reach Base Village by 4:30am
Freshen-up & Breakfast by 6 am
Start Trek by 6:30 am
Reach the top of Kalsubai by 10:30-11:00 am
Rest for some time.
Start Descending by 11:30 am
Reach Base Village by 2:30 pm
Lunch at the Base Village.
Start our Return Journey by 4:00 pm
Reach Thane By 9 pm (Depend on the Traffic)
Reach Mumbai by 10 pm (Depend on the Traffic)

The cost for the trek will be 1000/- which includes, Travelling by private Non AC bus from Dadar to Dadar, Tea & Breakfast, Lunch.

Important Things to Carry:
A bottle of water (atleast 2 Ltrs),
Torch with extra batteries (compulsory)
Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc.
Medicine if u require usually
A good trekking shoes (compulsory) , 
Extra pair of socks, clothes (Optional)
Camera, Cap, Sunscreen lotion (Optional)
A haversack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has ones hands free while trekking. Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas. Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.

**Cancelation and Refund applicable on the entire trek cost :

1. If cancelation done prior to 10 days of the trek 75% of the total cost will be refunded.
2. If cancelation done prior to 5 days of the trek 50% will be refunded.
3. If cancelation done after that, no refund will be provided.
