Ghangad is a fort situated near 30km from Lonavla-Khandala and 100 km from Pune in Maharashtra state, India.This fort is an important fort in Pune district. The fort restoration is done by the Shivaji Trail group with the help of forest dept. and local villagers. The fort is at least 300 years old.
History
Very less information is available about the history of the fort. This fort was used for keeping prisoners and for keeping watch on the trade route from Pune to Konkan.Until 1818 this fort was under the Maratha empire. This fort was surrendered to British forces after the fall of Korigad on 17-March-1818.
Schedule:
Departure from Pravas office at 06:00am - Reach Ghanagad base by 08:30am (Breakfast on the way) - Start Trek by 08:45am - Reach top by 09:30am - Explore fort and Enjoy Rains upto 01:00pm - Have lunch and start descending down - Reach base by 03:00pm - Return journey towards Pune via Tamhini ghat and we will enjoy the rains on the way. We reach Pune by 07-07:30pm (Evening Tea on the way).

Cancellation Policy: (ONE/ TWO/ THREE DAY TREKS)
Refund will be made by following terms.
15 Days before the Event - 60% Amount will be refunded.
5 to 10 Days before the Event - 40% Amount will be refunded.
2 to 5 Days before the Event - 20% Amount will be refunded.
1 Days before the Event - NO Amount will be refunded.
