Monsoon Marathon Challenge 2017

Highlights

Monsoon Marathon Challenge (formerly known as 10k Challenge) is the sixth edition of RunIndiaRun's annual running event. Below are the highlights of the event.

1. This event is a qualifier for all leading running event across India.

2. The event is organized under the aegis of MUMBAI SUBURBAN DISTRICT ATHLETICS ASSOCIATION Timings will be recorded through Electronic method (Timing chip).

3. 21km and 10km distance category are allowed for participants of 18 years and above (Born on or before 23 July 1999).

4. 5km distance category is allowed for participants of 10 years and above (Born on or before 23 July 2007).

5. All distance categories are competitive and electronic timing chip will be given to all participants.

6. In all distance categories, Prizes will be given to Top 3 male and female in each age category.

7. Snacks and refreshments will be served to all participants after the race. It is compulsory to show BIB for collecting snacks. Without BIB, snacks will not be served.

8. Finishers Medal will be given to each participant in all distance categories after finishing the race. It is compulsory to show BIB for collecting the finisher Medal.

Declaration

By submitting the form, I hereby declare that I am physically fit to participate in this event and have attained all necessary physical examination by a registered medical practitioner. I acknowledge that participating in this event may carry some risk to my health. I release the organizers from any liability or any loss or injury which I may suffer while participating in the race. I have read and understood all the "RULES & REGULATIONS" and all the information provided by me in the registration form is correct. Further, I grant full permission to the organizer and all associated organizations to use all event material including but not limited to photographs and videotape for publicity and advertising purposes without any compensation. I give Organizer the right to send me any communication (event, promotion, partners, etc.) via email, SMS, Phone call, Social media & any other channel.

Rules & Regulations

• The event is organized under the aegis of MUMBAI SUBURBAN DISTRICT ATHLETICS ASSOCIATION Timings will be recorded through Electronic method (Timing chip). Certificate of this race can be used to register in all leading marathons across India.
• Only Indian nationals residing in MUMBAI are eligible to participate in this event.
• In case of minor's registration (below 18 years of age), declaration has to be signed by parent / guardian.
• 21km and 10km distance category are allowed for participants of 18 years and above (Born on or before 23 July 1999).
• 5km distance category is allowed for participants of 10 years and above (Born on or before 23 July 2007).
• All distance categories are competitive and electronic timing chip will be given to all participants.
• In all distance categories, Prizes will be given to Top 3 male and female in each age category.
• Race timing will be recorded on Mat-to-Mat basis i.e. your timing starts/stops when you cross start/finish line.
• Registrations will close on 30th June 2017 at 11:59 PM or when the maximum limit of Running Places are filled in, whichever is earlier.
• Age group of the participant will be selected automatically depending on the Date of Birth.
• Participant must upload/submit copy of his ID proof for age verification.
• BIBs will be distributed on 14th 15th and 16th July 2017 at your selected Total Sports & Fitness store between 11am to 7pm.
• The participant will have to collect the Race BIB within the defined period and from selected BIB distribution centre only. No request for change will be entertained.
• Participant must bring below documents for collecting the BIB:
  • SMS received after successful registration / Print out of Confirmation Email.
  • Authority Letter for collecting the BIB of any other participant.
• The BIB allotted to the participant is non-transferable and request for cancellation and thereby, refund will not be entertained.
• The BIB properly pinned at 4 corners on the front of your T-shirt is compulsory, without which a participant will not be allowed to take part in the event.
• Snacks and refreshments will be served to all participants after the race. It is compulsory to show BIB for collecting snacks. Without BIB, snacks will not be served.
• Finishers Medal will be given to each participant in all distance categories after finishing the race. It is compulsory to show BIB for collecting the finisher Medal.
• The decision of the JURY will be final and binding.
