About The Event

After an overwhelming response from families in Delhi, the festival of Healthy and Happy food – Mc Vitie’s Kids Culinaire, a food festival  is coming to Mumbai for the first time on 01st and 02nd April at City Park, E-Block, Bandra-Kurla Complex.  With McVities as title partner, there are some exciting additions to watch out for at the festival, most notable being the visit of beautiful celebrity mommy and brand ambassador of McVities, Kajol Devgan.

This Fun Food Festival for children was started by Pilcrow Communications in 2015, with the aim of making food 'fun' for children and thus bringing about a transformation in their eating habits. It has been designed keeping little ones and their parents/caregivers in mind with fun workshops, interesting information, exciting activities and cool contests.

The festival has been planned keeping parents, caregivers and little ones in mind and is full of fun workshops, interesting information, exciting activities and cool contests. Activities include an interactive display of the Food groups, where children can milk a cow in the Dairy section, do lentil art in the Protein section or dig for underground veggies in the Vegetable section. Meal-timestory telling gets interactive with Simi Srivastava from Kathashaala, a storytelling institute which specializes in the use of performing arts.   At the Demo and Contest area, we welcome celebrity Chef Amrita Raichand, host of popular TV show "Mummy ka Magic", to present how mothers can camouflage the healthy into tasty so food from our child’s plate disappears like magic.

Priyanka Amar Shah from Ikheti will also be helping children to understand the Farm to Table concept throughsowing, harvesting, making and eating the produce and finally learning to segregate and compost.

Food artist and author of “Fun Foods for Fussy Eaters”-Smita Srivastava will be working together with children and parents on plating and the art of packing tiffins.

There’s lots to do and see for both parents and children at McVities Kids Culinaire so do go online to pre-register on the website. Entry to the event is ticketed to ensure a safer environment for families with children, but participation in these fun activities is free once inside, on first come first served basis.
