About Mcleodganj:

McLeod Ganj, a suburb of Dharamshala in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, India is also known as 'Little Lhasa' or 'Dhasa' (a short form of Dharamshala used mainly by Tibetans) because of its large Tibetian population. The Tibetan government in exile is headquartered in McLeod Ganj.

The suburb has an average elevation of 2,082 metres (6,831 feet). It is situated on the Dhauladhar Range, whose highest peak, "Hanuman Ka Tibba", at about 5,639 metres (18,500 feet), lies just behind it.

Itinerary

Day 0:

Overnight Journey to Mcleodganj
Departs from Delhi around 7:00 P.M.
Overnight Journey to Mcleodganj by A.C Coach
Reach to Mcleodganj next morning

Day 1:

Mcleodganj Arrival, Check-In and Local Sightseeing, Dinner
Morning arrive at hotel Hotel Villa Inn
After freshen up, take some rest.
After Lunch, Trek to famous Bhagsu Nag temple and trek up to Bhagsu Waterfall, spend some time at shiva cafe
Then return back to hotel.
You can enjoy the narrow lanes of Mcleod ganj and explore the market for some shopping.
Overnight stay at hotel

Day 2:

Breakfast, Trek to Triund Hill and Camping
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the fresh breeze
Today after early morning breakfast. Get ready for the exciting trek to Triund Hill.
Trek upto the triund hill and enjoy the panoramic views of the Bhagsu Village, Mcleodganj, the Dharamsala Valley and distant view of Shivalik Hills and the plains of Kangra Valley from the top of the hills
We set camp with our warm and waterproof tents at strategic position (10000 ft ) where you can have the best overnight views.
Enjoy the camping and dinner in the camp
Overnight stay in camps.

Day 3:

Breakfast, Check-out and Trek to Mcleodganj and Local sightseeing, Departure
After breakfast and check out from the camp
Then Visit the famous home of the Dalai Lama – The Dalai Lama Temple, then visit ancient St. John Church by yourself ( If time allows )
Later proceed to Delhi.
Next Morning at around 7:00 AM reach to Delhi
