Workshop Overview

• The Lean Six Sigma GB training enables participants to lead project teams working on waste reduction, quality  improvements and to make bottom line improvements
• The Candidates will  be able to apply the 5 step DMAIC methodology  to solve problems and accomplish project goals
• Participants will solve problems using quality and statistical tools with Sigma XL software
• The workshop provides opportunity to discuss about the  project charter and gain insights on how to  use lean and six sigma tools in the respective projects
• The participants will learn about team dynamics and management of six sigma projects
• The workshop is highly interactive with case study presentations, discussions and group exercises 
• In the 3- Day long workshop, participants will gain  knowledge on successfully leading a Green Belt project

 Learning Objectives

• This workshop gives an overview of Lean Six Sigma and how to use the tools to work on improvement projects at the work place
• Helps understand the concept of Lean, Six Sigma and the DMAIC process
• Learn about the tools and techniques used in Lean Six Sigma
• Learn how to select projects in alignment to the organizations key objectives
• Understand how to define a problem and select the appropriate tools and techniques to obtain the desired result
• Use of Lean tools like 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Management, Kaizen, Material flow, Quick Changeover, Kanban and Poka Yoke
• Construct zero level, detailed and SIPOC process maps
• Learn to conduct and interpret hypothesis tests like t-tests, Anova, Chi-square and medians test
• Understand how to use statistical techniques like Multi-vari analysis, Correlation, Regression, Centre limit theorem and Confidence Interval
• Learn how to balance a production line and pace the process to meet customer demand
• Learn to recognize waste and implement  control techniques like SPC, Control Plans and visual controls
• Use Sigma XL to analyze statistical problems and to plot the data

 Trainers Profile

Pradeep Kumar has over two decades of professional experience against his name. With multi-location and multi-cultural exposure, Pradeep’s core expertise comes from over a decade of specialization in a large multinational company. He is a Certified MBB in Lean and Six Sigma by SBTI, Texas and trained by Mckinsey Consultants as a Lean Practitioner in Rock Hill-USA.

He currently works with large multinational companies, helping them drive Operational Excellence and implement lean strategies. He has trained candidates in Lean & Six Sigma in India, China, Japan, Thailand, Europe, Middle East and the USA; and mentored more than 500 Engineers and Managers in Lean & Six Sigma in India and overseas.
