LINGANA CLIMBING EXPEDITION

Lingana is a massive pinnacle on the mainline of the Sahyadris between Raigad and Torna. It takes its name from its shape which is like a linga. It is 2969 feet high with an ascent of four miles, the first half is easy to climb while the second is difficult. The top of the fortified rock is 2500 feet square. No fortifications or buildings remain but there are traces of a grain store and some cisterns. Lingana was used as a penal settlement. The prisoners were confined to rock dungeons with one dungeon holding 50 prisoners

Charges: Rs. 2800/-
(Inclusive of transportation from Mumbai to Mumbai, Breakfast, Lunch, Safety Guidance, Equpiments and Expertise)

Pick up Points: Borivali, Andheri, Bandra, Sion, Ghatkopar, Mulund, Navi Mumbai

Itinerary:-
Day 1:
08:00 PM - Leave from Mumbai
5:30 AM - Reach the Base Village and Freshenup

Day 2:
06:00 am - Start Trek
07:00 am- Reach the climbing patch and start climbing
11:00 am - Reach the Summit
11:30 am - Start descend and Rappelling
4:00 pm - Reach base and have lunch
5:00 pm - Head back to Mumbai
11:00 pm - Approx. arrival at Mumbai.

Important Note:
1) The trek leader holds the right to make any changes in the program or schedule without any prior notice. Participants will have to bear extra charges if any, unavoidable expenses occurred due to change in program or natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks etc.
2) Don't bring valuable things like gold or any jewelry or High-value mobile phones.
3) Consumption of Alcohol strictly banned on Trek. In case found guilty, strict actions will be taken.
4) If any natural calamity happens or any accident, death, illness occurred, the Organiser is not responsible for any loss of thing or human being.
5) Cancellation Charges Rs. 500/- Strictly Applicable under any circumstances.
