Event Overview
In this fast paced life, we often tend to ignore, overlook and procrastinate the needs of one most important person, any guesses who? Me..myself..I.
Caught in the rigmarole of everyday routines, competition, keeping up with the ever increasing pressure at places of work, study, home, eventually leads to stress, mental fatigue, burnout and a host of lifestyle disease. We are unable to takeout time for ourselves and our loved ones.
LetsHike - Gaumukh Trail, at Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali, on October 10, 2018 from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm is an event initiated by Decathlon along with the social initiative AwareRaho to be with yourself in the middle of the nature.
Aimed at creating awareness about hiking as well the benefits of being close to the nature.
About Gaumukh Trail
Amongst the most popular birding treks in the forest, this gentle but lengthy trail makes for a good inclusion in your Sunday morning and afternoon constitution. Start early and come well prepared with some nice picnic snacks (yes but don’t litter in the forest) and good amount of drinking water. For this trail may entice you to go an extra mile further and put your exercise starved lungs to some challenge. For this trail can lead you to the highest point in the park at some 1000 feet above the sea level and also to the popular Gaumukh point on top of Kanhery caves. Right at the base of the trail is a serene and beautiful natural water hole which the locals refer to as ‘Phansacha Paani’. Full throughout the year, this place is a magnet for wild life and you may avail requisite permissions from the forest department and sit-out on here on one the two, tall-watch towers put up here for an entire night! These watchtowers afford for some of the most thrilling wild encounters.
So come LetsHike together at Gaumukh Trail.
