Land of Rising Sun or Arunachal Pradesh is one of the best kept travel secrets of the world. The place is breathtakingly beautiful and is surrounded by the snow cap mighty Himalayas, pristine rivers, waterfalls and is a paradise you never thought it could be. The state has a dense cover of forest (approx 80%), has some the rarest flora and fauna and is the home of 26 exotic tribes and sub-tribes.

Guwahati –Bhalukpong (250 km, 5 hours): Book your tickets so that everyone reaches Guwahati by 1.00pm. The journey to Tawang is completed in stages to let you see the real Arunachal. We complete the distance of Guwahati –Bhalukpong (250 km) in 5 hours and staying there for night.
Bhalukpong to Bomdila (120km, 6 hours): Today we will drive from Bhalukpong to Bomdila. We will visit the Cholling monastery in rupa en route and explore the township as it is necessary for you to get accustomed with the high altitude of the region before reaching Tawang.
Bomdila to Tawang (250 km, 7 hours) : We will drive from Bomdila to Tawang and reach sela pass also known as the Dragon gate. The scenery is beautiful as it is surrounded by snow covered mountains; we will be visiting alpine lake and Jung waterfall mid way.
Tawang rendezvous: Take the well deserved rest today and explore the place, we have lot to do! We will be visiting the famous Tawang monastery and get explore the local culture there. You can try out the local cuisine which is very tasty and momos deserves a special mention here.
Tawang rendezvous continues: we will visit the exceptionally beautiful alpine lakes today and soak ourselves in the beauty of the Himalayan region. If the weather permits we will visit the villages nearby to get a glimpse of the local lifestyle and tradition.
Drive back to Dirang (6 hours): Though we start our journey back home, we still have lots to explore on the way. Dirang is a beautiful and village, we visit the magnificent sangti valley to experience the unique lifestyle of the locals and mompas inhibiting the place.
Nameri Jungle camp (7 hours): Today we reach the famous Nameri sanctuary and explore the eco camp and we will get a chance to taste the mouth watering Assamese delicacies besides a bon-fire.
P.S: Did I mention, we will be staying in Bamboo huts?! Yes we will!
Drive back to Guwahati (4 hours): A walk in the jungle and freshly cooked breakfast besides the beautiful Bhorali River is what we will be doing in the morning and a perfect way to end our trip. We finally embark towards Guwahati; You are requested to book return flight tickets post 3.00 pm.
• Stay in the hotels is on Twin basis. Food is not included, the cost for that is around Rs. 2500 for the entire trip.
• Comfortable SUV’s are arranged for the entire trip ( 5 per car).
