Short Information :
The Kumta to Gokarna beach trek is a 20 km long hike between two towns in the Uttara Kannada district – Kumta and Gokarna. The trek starts from Kumta beach, and goes all the way up to Gokarna beach, passing over fifteen beaches en route.

Overview :
Kumta : Kumta is a town and a taluk in the Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, India. Kumta is about 142 km south of Margao and 58 km north of Bhatkal. It is one of the important stations along the Konkan Railway line running between Mumbai and Mangalore
Gokarna :
Gokarna is small town on the Westren Coastal line having many virgin beaches which serve as the best offbeat weekend destinations for trekking on the beach line.It is believed that Lord Shiva emerged from a Cow's Ear (Mother Earth) here which is why it is called Gokarna.
Gokarna is a conflux between the Sayadhris and the Arabian Sea with hillocks surrounding the beach. Trekking on the coastal line is a beautiful as well asa challenging experience because of the humid conditions at the shore.
What we try to do ?
Day 1 - Kumta - Gokarna Beach Trek
>> 22.00 : Catch Bus to Hubli from MGBS Bus Stand (Volvo Multi Axle)
Day 2 - Reach Kumta
>> 07.30 : Reach Hubli & Freshen up and get into Hired Vehicle.
>> 10.30 : Reach Kumta and Start trek from Vannali Beach.
Start our hike through no.of beaches
Follow the course of trek via Vannali Beach, Mangodlu Beach, Kadle Beach, Holanagadde Beach, Gudeangadi Beach, Nirvana Beach, Kagal beach, Belekan Beach or Paradise Beach (lunch on the way - Packed)
>> 18.00 : Reach Belekan beach --> Set up camp for the night
Sleep under the stars in your sleeping bag or you also have the option to use the tents
Day 3 - Paradise Beach or Belekan Beach To Gokarna Beach
>> 06:00 : Wake up to the sight of rising sun over the sea, freshen up
>> Start our hike and reach Paradise beach.
Walk through Paradise Beach, Small Hell Beach, Half Moon Beach, Om Beach, Kudle Beach, Gokarna Beach and have breakfast en route.
>> Reach Hubli by 03 PM and catch Train to Hyderabad
Day 4 : Reach Hyderabad by 4.30 AM
