Kumara Parvatha trekking path leading to the peak is completely covered by the evergreen forests coming under Sulya forest belt, with different trek routes, we have 2 different routes to explore and conquer the peak. On a clear day one can view sunrise as orange ball popping out from deep blue background of Arabian Sea surrounded by lush green forests on the sides.
With us to reach Kumara Parvatha peak one needs to trek to 3 different stages on which the first one being the Shesha Parvatha', followed by the 'Siddha Parvatha' and finally entering the boundaries of 'Kumara Parvatha'.
From Kukke Subramanya the view of Kumara Parvatha looks like a simple one but to conquer one must be very trek enthusiast and require guidance from first step to the peak as the route takes one into the deep reserve forests of Pushpagiri, this is where come into picture by providing Corporate Teams / groups / Trekkers an guidance with all measures to conquer the peak.
To conquer the destination we have trek for min of 13.5 kms from base of Kukke Subramanya, this is one of the most beautiful trek routes offering the nature lovers to sight the myriad trees of the forest, as we cross 4kms in the trek we will be entering the leech forests were we provide an anti-leech coagulant solutions to overcome it in the process of reaching the peak.
As this place lies in between the peaks of Agumbe in north and Coorg in the south this place receives highest rainfall during monsoons, at this time the trek routes will be very challenging as the visibility will be very less due fog/mist cover, the nature view at this period will be once in a lifetime view.
This is home place to many flora and fauna, mainly due to wet and cold climate we can find lot of leeches in monsoon period and it is home to many Indian snakes like cobra’s and Russell vipers and also to many more wildlife like Elephants, tiger rare sight, leopards, wild boar, and many species of birds tweeting around the reserves.
Day 0: This overnight journey to Kumara Parvatha base begins from Bangalore on Friday.
Day 1: Reach Homestay, freshen up and have some breakfast, and start the trek with packed lunch. The trek to Kumara Parvatha takes you through the lush green forests and meadows, with steep pathway. A close work between body and mind is required. Encounter several water streams, adding a bit of blue to the greenery around. Monsoons can be really chaotic because of leeches. As you reach the Pushpagiri peak, the scenery will blow your mind. Time to unleash the photographer in you and capture some smiles. Then head to Shesha Parvatha, this being a difficult trail, entirely because of the steepness, is quite alluring. Descend after exploring and head back to the Homestay to spoil yourself with some scrumptious local cuisine. Unwind by the campfire and have the most tranquil sleep (believe us).
Day 2: Wake up early to leave for Mallalli falls, explore the place and come back tohomestay for breakfast. Pack up and prepare to leave for Bangalore and take with you a tale definitely worth sharing.
