Konkan Beach Marathon 2019

This is the Third edition of the Konkan Beach Marathon.

Konkan Beach Marathon is run entirely on the untamed beaches of a small town called Nagaon, in Raigad district ,during low tide. The beach is covered with flat sand. It is a firm flat surface at low tide. We start running before the sunrise and mid route we will be greeted by the morning sun. It is ok to run barefoot. Entire running route is on the beach. At the finish everyone enjoys cool down on the sea shore, along with post run festivities , including DJ party , and cool down stretching sessions by our instructors.

15K 7:15 AM

10K 7:30 AM

5K 7:45 AM

Fun activities and beach party up to 10:30 AM

You can keep your change clothes at baggage counter. Parents are requested to take care of children and prevent them from entering the sea without a supervising adult.

How to reach: best option is to take launch from Gateway of India. It takes 30 min to 1hour depending on the service you choose.

Pre race singing and dancing at 6:30 PM  5th JAN at Karpewadi, get your musical instruments and beautiful voices. If you would like to have some arrangements for your performance please call Nikhil

Bib distribution: 5th Jan Saturday, 3PM - 6PM, Karpewadi boat office.

Transports from Pune Mumbai will be announced soon as well.
