Kodachadri is a mountain peak with dense forests (elevation - 1,343 metres above sea level) in the Western Ghats in South India (Shivamogga Dist., Karnataka State) which is known as natural heritage site.
Kodachadri forms a background to the famous temple of Mookambika in Kollur & it is home to several endemic and endangered species of flora and fauna which is in the middle of the Mookambika National Park & considered as a biodiversity hotspot.
The view from the top of the hill, which has a bluff appearance from the distance, though it is as sharp as a knife in reality, is very fine, commanding a long stretch of great Ghats range, a considerable portion of Canara
Hidlumane Waterfalls and it can be reached by trekking on a bridle path, which involves a little adventurous trekking, Visit to Nagara fort on the final day of the event

ITINERARY:
DAY 0: Overnight journey to the base of Kodachadri.

ITINERARY:
DAY 0: Overnight journey to the base of Kodachadri.
DAY 1: Freshen up @ homestay with a Quick breakfast and Trek to ## Hidlumane falls ## proceed further to the peak of Kodachadri EXPLORE… Descend back to base DINNER & BONFIRE… Retire for the day
DAY 2: Visit Nagara fort and lets start back to BENGALURU with a self-paid lunch.
Cost includes: Transportation non AC vehicle, forest dept. charges, medical 1st aid charges, Coordinator charges. Veg food.
Day 1 breakfast, lunch & dinner, Day 2 breakfast.
Accomodation: homestay & tented.
Things to Carry:
Torch, personal medications, sunscreen, Hat, 3 litres of water. Extra pair of socks and clothes. Toiletries, Backpack, shoes, Energy Chocolates/Snacks. ID proof.
*Participants who are unable to descend the trek can use the jeep access, by paying on their own at a nominal prices.
*Alcohol is strictly prohibited in the event.
#Camping overnight @ the peak is not allowed.
