Rules for the tournament

ü  The tournament is open to all kids in schools across India.

ü  All the players are required to carry theirage proof and produce before the beginning of all events and when asked for.

ü  On field, Judges / Organizers / Referees / Umpires decision would be final.

ü  The tournament comprises of the following categories 

Boys Singles: Age categories: U9, U11, U13 & U15 years.

Girls Singles: Age categories: U11, U15 years.

ü  Age cut-off is as follows:

o    Under 9: Born on or after 1/1/2008

o    Under 11: Born on or after 1/1/2006

o    Under 13: Born on or after 1/1/2004

o    Under 15: Born on or after 1/1/2002

ü  The Venue is JUSTPLaYSports Club, Electronic city phase 1, off Neeladri road.

Format:

-       Knock-out – For 21 points (Single set)

-       Finals: Point System: 15 Points - Best of 3 Sets.

ü  All safety gears and playing equipment’s have to be brought by the participants (i.e. Badminton Racquets, Indoor badminton Non-marking shoes etc.)

ü  Players are requested to be in proper sports attire

ü  Strictly ONLY indoor non-marking shoes allowed at the venue (NO black sole allowed. ONLY Yellowish / Orangish sole allowed).

ü  First aid will be provided in case of any injury

ü  All standard Badminton rules apply

ü  All participants are requested to maintain discipline and to avoid any kind of arguments with any other participants

ü  Participants need to be present at least 30 minutes prior to the designated start time. Else the opponent will be given walk-over.

ü  Registrations once done cannot be cancelled / transferred under any circumstances

ü  Organizers reserves the right to reject any registration if found biased.

ü  All participants will get the schedule 2 days prior to the tournament date. Else please write to [email protected]

Schedules and Fixtures:

ü  Will be published and sent by email to all participants 1 day before the tournament.

Rewards:

ü  Trophy for Winner / Runner-up.

ü  Participation Certificates to be given to all participants.

KhelINDIA management can modify the tournament details any time at its own discretion without any prior notice.
