KhelIndia Badminton Championship 2

Date of Tournament: 01-Apr-2017 (Saturday)

Registration Fee:

-      400 rs for Singles category

-      800rs for Doubles category

Rules for the tournament:

ü  The tournament is open to all Non Seeded Individuals across India.

ü  Top 50 ranking players in the last 4 years in any category are not allowed.

ü  All the players are required to carry the Identity cards and produce before the beginning of all events and when asked for.

ü  On field, Judges / Organizers / Referees / Umpires decision would be final.

ü  The tournament comprises of the following categories 

Singles:   Men's Singles / Women’s Singles

Doubles:  Men's Doubles

Mixed Doubles:

ü  One player can participate in multiple categories.

Example: Sample player can play in both Singles and doubles categories.

ü  The Venue is JustPlay Sports Club at Electronic city phase 1, off Neeladri road.

Format: Knock OUT format

 -       Knock-out – For 30 points (Single set)

-       Finals ONLY: Point System: 21 Points - Best of 3 Sets.

 ü  All safety gears and playing equipment’s have to be brought by the participants (i.e. Badminton Racquets, Indoor badminton Non-marking shoes etc.)

ü  Players are requested to be in proper sports attire

ü  Strictly ONLY indoor non-marking shoes allowed at the venue (NO black sole allowed. ONLY Yellowish / Orangish sole allowed).

ü  First aid will be provided in case of any injury

ü  All standard Badminton rules apply

ü  All participants are requested to maintain discipline and to avoid any kind of arguments with any other participants

ü  Participants need to be present at least 30 minutes prior to the designated start time. Else the opponent will be given walk-over.

ü  Registrations once done cannot be cancelled / transferred under any circumstances

ü  KhelINDIA Management reserves the right to cancel any category if minimum number (8) of nominations are not received for a specific category. Registration fee will be refunded in that case.

ü  Organizers reserves the right to reject any registration if found biased.

ü  All participants will get e-mail confirmation with in a week’s time from the date of registration. Else please write to khelindiainfo@gmail.com

 Schedules and Fixtures:

ü  Individual Events: Will be published and sent by email to all participants 1 day before the tournament.

ü Trophies for Winner / Runner-up & Cash Prize/Vouchers/Goodies.

MS – Men Singles:

• 1^st prize: 2500 INR + trophy
• 2^nd prize: 1500 INR + trophy
• 3^rd prize: Prizes Worth Rs 500/-
• 4^th prize: Prizes Worth Rs 500/-

MD – Men Doubles:

• 1^st prize: 3500 INR + trophy
• 2^nd prize: 2000 INR + trophy
• 3^rd prize: Prizes Worth Rs 500/-
• 4^th prize: Prizes Worth Rs 500/-

MS (35+) – Men Singles 35+:

• 1^st prize: 1200 INR + trophy
• 2^nd prize: 600 INR + trophy

MD (35+) – Men Doubles 35+:

• 1^st prize: 2500 INR + trophy
• 2^nd prize: 1000 INR + trophy

XD – Mixed Doubles:

• 1^st prize: 2500 INR + trophy
• 2^nd prize: 1000 INR + trophy

WS – WomenSingles:

• 1^st prize: 1200 INR + trophy
• 2^nd prize: 600 INR + trophy

WD – Women Doubles:

• 1^st prize: 2500 INR + trophy
• 2^nd prize: 1000 INR + trophy

NOTE: CASH PRIZE is applicable only when there are 16+ entries in the specific category. If there are less than 16 entries in a specific category, there won’t be any CASH PRIZE, instead only goodies/gifts of desirable amount will be given.

KhelINDIA management can modify the tournament details any time at its own discretion without any prior notice.
