About The Event

Day 0 (31 March):

Start from Bangalore at 10 pm

Day 1 (1 April) :

Reach Mulki (a town in Mangalore), freshen up, have breakfast.

We will start kayaking at 9am in the morning to reach the campsite by 4pm in the evening. After reaching the camping site we can rest or even jump into the river to relax. Getting on the kayak and jumping back into the fresh water is too much fun.

We will camp at the camping site. Stay will be in tents. We will enjoy the barbeque, songs & wilderness around us.

Day 2 ( 2 April):

We will kayak back the same way & reach Mulki by 2pm. We will have lunch, freshen up & leave by 4pm to reach Bangalore by 11:30pm

Cost: rs.5400

This includes:

I don’t know swimming, can I go for Kayaking?

Absolutely, you will be provided a life jacket. It is impossible to drown in water with life jacket.

How tiring is kayaking?

Kayaking is similar to trekking. We keep moving at a constant pace and take break time to time. Moving in water is more efficient than land. To cover the same distance, kayaking takes less energy than trekking. It is an excellent workout for upper body.

Is it safe to kayak in River Shambhavi?

River Shambhavi is very calm throughout the year. There is no white water, which makes it perfect to get started with kayaking.
