KARNATAKA STATE OPEN JUNIOR TOURNAMENT

Junior Badminton Championship

Event Details:

Date: 14th October

Time: 9 AM to 6 PM

Venue: Level up(white peacock),Sarjapur

Registration Fee:

• 450 Rs per registration

Categories:

Boys : Age categories: U10, U13, U15 & U17 years.

Girls : Age categories: U10, U13 & U15 years.

Cut-off Age is as follows:

ü  Under 10: Born on or after 14/10/2008

ü  Under 13: Born on or after 14/10/2005

ü  Under 15: Born on or after 14/10/2003

ü  Under 17: Born on or after 14/10/2001

Rules of the tournament:

•  The tournament is open for all the kids.

•  All the players are required to carry their age proof and produce before the beginning of  the event.

•  Organizers / Referees  decision will be final. 

 Format:

v  Knock-out – For 21 points (Single set)

v  Semi-Finals:11 Points - Best of 3 sets

v  Finals:15 Points - Best of 3 Sets.

General Instructions:

• All playing equipment’s have to be brought by the participants.

• Only indoor non-marking shoes/Badminton Shoes allowed at the venue 

• First aid will be provided in case of any injury

• All standard Badminton rules will be followed

• Participants need to be present at least 20 minutes prior to the designated time, else the opponent will be given walk-over

• Registrations once done cannot be cancelled / refunded under any circumstances

• Fixtures Will be sent by email to all participants a day before the tournament.

 Shuttlecock:

• Feather

 Prizes:

• Trophy, Medal & Achievement certificate for Winner / Runner-up.

• Medal & certificate for Semi-Finalist

• Participation Certificates to be given to all.

Snacks:

• Refreshments will be provided to all participants
