Karma Kartel is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. They are known to perform the best of Sufi, alternative, fusion, indie, jazz, pop, rock, and Bollywood music.
The band has performed at numerous events like corporate gigs, college festivals, private parties, etc. They have played over 800 shows all over the country in the last decade.
Their LIVE shows have been featured by NDTV, Aaj Tak, MTV, and various national and local channels. One of their songs got featured in the background score of the 2011 blockbuster film, ‘Dum Maro Dum’.
But, these achievements are not the reason behind the popularity of this band; what sets them ?apart is their versatility.
They are the only musical group in India that plays four genres of music, ie., Sufi (for an evening of delightful and soulful music), Bollywood (if you are in the mood for some retro and foot tapping music from the popular genre), Punjabi (since no one can resist the beat of the Dhol), and English (from Eric Clapton and Bryan Adams to Elton John and The Beatles).
