OV presents “Kaas impressions”
Touring nature while exploring art.
When you combine art with nature- magic happens. And that is what we will do at our #KaasImpressions outing. An overnight outing that combines a camping site by a beautiful lake, a poetry and storytelling session by some brilliant performers followed by a Visit to the Beautiful Kaas Plateau. It sounds too good to be true right? Well it just gets better because you are also going to perform an impressionistic painting workshop right there in the plateau.
It is too good to be true, but it is happening.
The poetry and storytelling session will be facilitated by Chandrakant, a performance poet and Co-Founder of Bullock Cart Poetry. It will include some writing exercises, a short feature performance by Chandrakant and also an open session for everyone to share their poetry.
The Art Workshop will be facilitated by Artist Shweta Ektare, the workshop will contain step by step exercises on how to paint an impressionistic landscape. Along with a brief history of the technique with emphasis on the great impressionist artist Monet.
No prior experience of Painting and poetry required
