Describtion:-
The Corporate Cricket tournament is being organised in memory of Ms. J K Samyuktha, who was the first person to introduce the concept of rain water harvesting to Chennai Corporation.
The 2-day Championship will have 32 teams participating in knock out matches. There will be 31 matches played between the teams & the finals will be on Sunday evening, which will be attended by Aspiring cricketers from corporate world.
The winner& the Runner up team will be awarded with trophies, citations, Cash prize worth Rs.15, 000 for winners and Rs.10, 000for runners, one day stay in a Farmhouse in ECR absolutely free for winners and runners, GiftVouchers and lot more.
This year, the funds raised from the tournament is contrived to be utilized for inducing a Rain Water Harvesting Plant to an Orphanage to fulfil their water needs and to conserve the unsurpassable gift of nature, and also instigated to provide commendable nutritional assistance to HIV/AIDS infected kids as a boost to their devastating battle.
