Sangitanjaly Foundation, A non profit organization working towards promoting Indian Classical Music in association with Telangana Tourism is organizing its annual Jhankar 2017 on Friday 4th August in Ravindra Bharathi Auditorium in aid of Children with Autism at Autism Ashram and with active support from Telangana Tourism, SBI & LIC , The Park ( Hospitality Partner).
Shri Anup Jalota the Bhajan & Ghazal Samrat will sing live verses from Ram Charitmanas and Momm Ganguly and her Troupe will perform in Mohiniattam Dance form. They will present ‘The Ballads of Sree Rama’ a modern day tribute to the evergreen values of Shree Rama, his life and his rare deeds of humanity
Perhaps for the first time in the history of Indian dance drama we have a rare opportunity to celebrate the iconic Tulsidas Ramayana in spectacular Mohiniyatam style - the eclectic dovetailing of north Indian Awadhi storytelling with the graceful rendering of south Indian Kerala dance format.
