Program Theme: “Scaling Agile”
“Leading from the front: Scaling Agile to Leading the Lean-Agile Enterprise.”
While Scaling Agile is focus of most of organizations, it is also generating more shivers when it comes to scaling.Scaling Agile predominantly traps scaling the practices of agility across all layers. While scaling processes, rather scaling empirically established working processes is one part of the challenge, Scaling Agile extensively talks about scaling engineering practices as well. Originally, Agile was spun to support and facilitate small teams and it worked well. Scaling it to multiple teams with an intention to have integrated and focused deliverable’s has led to the complexities around scaling, and thus new thought processes and frameworks got into existence.
In this ISEC meetup we are going to be intuitive and counter intuitive to the problem areas of “Scaling Agile”.
While visible notion on surface is to modify, adopt, implement and fine tune empirically established Agile strategies for medium to large size programs and organisations, Scaling Agility at the core is still a mindset change. Let’s connect and explore on this interesting and challenging topic of “Scaling Agility” and benefit from collaboration.
