Session Overview : This Session is meant for those who want to build their own IoT Products or planning an entry into the IoT market. We would cover some of the time and cost effective methods of building MVPs, various ways to enter into the marketand will demo some Real World applications.
Speaker : Mr. Vishnu Sharma, Chief Architect and Head of Innovation Labs, EXILANT Technologies Pvt. Ltd.


Profile : Vishnu is an electronics engineer by education and a software engineer by profession. Vishnu started his career with ITC Infotech in 1998 and from thereon, moved to Infosys in 2000. He was a Senior Technology Architect at Infosys and was running the SharePoint Center of Excellence at Infosys, where he built the practice from scratch to over 3 million USD in 3 years.


Vishnu has been named as an inventor in 5 patents issued by USPTO and additional 10 patents are pending with various patent offices worldwide. In the IoT world, to name a few, he is the creator of CoAPSharp - world’s first CoAP implementation for .NET Micro Framework, NetLock - an internet of things based gold deposit locker system and PlayMoteIO - smart Internet enabled Digital Billboards.


Vishnu moved to EXILANT in 2011 to get involved in setting up technology centric business and has been spearheading technology creation at EXILANT. He is working with the EXILANT team to setup new technology incubators around IoT and create new revenue streams.

6. How could small players start lean and still be in business despite Biggies.
