‘Internet of Things’ is the next big thing hitting the industry in a big way. As per experts from CISCO, IoT will trigger $8 trillion in revenues over the course of next 10 years. Also Internet of Things – from smart home devices to connected cars – will transform eCommerce and allow it to stretch across the breadth of the customer journey – from awareness to intent, to purchase. By 2020, as many as 5 connected objects per smartphone user will be a new normal.
The objective of the session is to enable the participants to get started with exploring the world of IoT by introducing them to key Hardware and Software Platforms for building IoT Solutions, and much more. Participants will be given the opportunity to interface the Real World to the Digital World using sensors and actuators.
Attendees will have a hands-on session on Node MCU, an open source microcontroller; and they shall apply these technologies to tackle day-to-day scenarios, using an experimental platform for implementing prototypes and testing them as running applications.
