Mahesh Jakhotia is Vice-President at Orbis Capital, a spin-out of Micromax’s Venture Capital program. Orbis is a cross-border fund that invests in global companies leveraging Indian market. At Micromax, he was involved with various Investments such as Ixigo (Travel), IndusOS (India's homegrown OS), Zapr (Media analytics), Healthifyme (Fitness), Scandid (eCommerce), etc.
Prior to Micromax, he worked at Avendus Capital, wherein he was involved in PE/VC and M&A for India's technology start-ups, and raised USD 500 MN+ for companies such as Lenskart (from TPG); Bookmyshow (from SAIF); Taxiforsure (from Accel US); Mswipe (from Falcon Edge), Housing.com (from Softbank); etc
