Upper Kanheri is one of the restricted areas of the Sanjay Gandhi National Park. It's a beautiful hike in the woods where you can learn a lot about the flora and fauna of S.G.N.P. This trail is a perfect getaway for those who just want to unwind over a simple hike through a dense forest which ends at a stream and waterfall. Be rest assured that you will learn a billion fun facts about the plants, insects and animals that inhabit this national park in the midst of our beloved city!
PS: This is not a trek to Kanheri caves but a different route that will take us beyond the caves. We visit the caves on our way back down.
