Indian Engineering Olympiad (IEO), organized by GATEFORUM (a division of Thinkcell Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd), is a pan-India exam that offers a real test of engineering aptitude for the engineering students in their respective fields on a national platform. After humongous response in first Three editions over 4,00,000 students, including several from the best of the engineering colleges across the country are expected to register for the third edition of the exam this year to pit their skills against each other.
The previous three edition of IEO were a grand success with over 3,50,000 students registering for the exam from the 2nd, 3rd & 4th year of engineering across various streams. Out of the students who took the exam at 50+ centers across India, the TOP 15 winners were awarded Medals, Certificates of Excellence & Financial Scholarships. Additionally, the TOP 1500 students were awarded Certificates of Merit as an appreciation of their performance. Also, the TOP 15 colleges were given Best College awards and colleges which actively participated in organizing and conducting the exam were given special appreciation awards.
IEO 2019 will focus on more student engagement and work to nourish real engineering talent. IEO 2019 will be a 3 stage exam where the first Stage will be conducted online to test the Engineering & General aptitude of the students and the second stage will be a paper-based test conducted at our designated centers to test the Technical knowledge of their respective streams followed by an Interview round. IEO 2019 will be conducted for all engineering students currently in their 1st, 2nd 3rd & 4th year in EC, EE, IN, CS & IT, CH, ME & CE streams. Students can win rewards & scholarships worth 30+ lakhs. First, Second & Third Topper are eligible for cash rewards of Rs 1,00,000/- , Rs 50,000/- & Rs 25,000/- respectively.
Exam Pattern : Round 1 (Online Test) on 23rd & 24th February 2019
Round 2 (Paper Based Test) on 24th March 2019
Round 3 ( Interview Round)
Eligibility: 1st ,2nd, 3rd & 4th-year students pursuing their engineering in any college across the country.
Streams Applicable - Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering & Chemical Engineering.
