Devanshi Damani Shah of Colour Crates- The Hobby Art Studio is here to teach to you the ancient art of Batik . DLearn to deisgn your own clothes with pretty wax Designs which are dyed and The result is a beautiful piece of cloth with some very unconventional designs.
This workshop is on 29th September 2019 Sunday 11 am to 2pm, at Jxtapose , Jubilee Hills.
Batik is an ancient art which uses wax and dyes to create a visual magic on fabrics. It is believed that the term is a derivation from the word `Ambatik’ which when translated literally stands for a piece of cloth with small dots or writing with wax or drawing in broken lines. It is an art appreciated all over the world.
Each Participant will take back beautiful pieces of batik pieces.
