IGNITE I and E SUMMIT

There is an overall national consensus in favour of adopting a growth-oriented model around entrepreneurship and innovation. The time is ripe to implement right policies and initiatives to encourage entrepreneurship and foster innovation. The role of innovation to boost industrial competitiveness and growth also needs recognition so that increasingly companies, especially SMEs, come forward and adopt a structured innovation approach to doing their business. CII has been creating platforms for continuous engagement for entrepreneurs and innovators to compete successfully in the global marketplace. These engagement platforms aim to gather and mobilize innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors towards creating sustainable business ventures.

It is with this background that CII, along with CII -Yi and the IWN Telangana Chapter, have conceptualized ‘IGNITE– Innovation & Entrepreneurship Summit’. IGNITE will bring together the known and leading names from the industry and academia as keynote speakers and the sessions will feature case studies from innovation driven companies within India. The summit will also bring together an array of budding entrepreneurs who will share their entrepreneurial learning with the new aspirants thereby providing a platform for start-ups to pitch their products to the medium and large companies and create new business development opportunities for the start-up.

An Exposition of Innovation & Entrepreneurship will be organized on the side-lines of the IGNITE to provide an opportunity for all participants of the summit to highlight products and services to a large audience and network with them for forging tie-ups. The exhibition is the facilitating platform to get together, celebrate and explore innovation and entrepreneurship.
