About Workshop

Two day India’s Biggest Networking Championship  organized by Association for Computer Scientists and Engineers & Association for Computing Machinery-IIT Delhi. The main focus of workshops is on giving deep and inside knowledge about Networking and giving students practical knowledge of Cisco Routers and Switches by bringing real routers and switches to the college.Just after the workshop a Mega Competition of IBNC-2015 on the basis of the two day workshop will be held. Winners will be selected and they will be invited at IIT Delhi for Final Championship during March 2015.

Workshop Content & Topics to be copvered

• Introduction to devices (CISCO Routers and Switches) and their uses in the Network of MNC’s like HCL, TCS, Navisite, Wipro, Airtel, Vodafone, Real Estates etc.
• Classes of IP Addresses and their Practical uses.
• About Routers and switches (Uses, Hardware, Software).
• Telnet and remote login.
• Designing a network and configuring live routers (Cisco 1840) and switches (Cisco 2950) by remote logging and direct access to them.
• Apply authentication using Passwords, Breaking Passwords.
• Studying Protocols (DHCP/FTP/Pop3 in context with industrial use).
• Static routing and dynamic routing and their practical uses in industry and many more.

• Cisco Packet Tracer
• Telnet Client
• Putty
• Wire Shark
