About The Event

The banking sector has witnessed substantial changes in recent years. Many national initiatives & innovations in the business of banking have driven this change. Information Technology too has played a significant role in the evolution of new age banking. From enabling banking services to driving transformation in the industry, Information Technology holds a promise to change the face of banking in the next few years. The pace of change aided by regulatory directions will push banks to direct their strategies to adopt innovative technologies.

In this background, IBEX INDIA 2011- the first edition of International Exhibition and Conference on Banking Technology, Equipment and Services was organized from 1 - 3 December 2011 at the World Trade Centre Mumbai.  IBEX INDIA 2011 connected the Banking sector with progressive technologies. IBEX INDIA 2011 brought together about 40 no. of Exhibitors & 1300 Visitors from the Banking fraternity on the same platform; which was very well appreciated from the BFSI sector.

The 2nd edition of International Exhibition & Conference on Banking Technology, Equipment & Services, IBEX INDIA 2013 was organised from 17 – 19 January 2013 at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. More than 1500 visitors from the Banking Sector viewed the latest technologies from the industry brought together by about 100 no. of Exhibitors. The concurrent

2 day IBEX INDIA Conference & 1 day Innovation Seminar brought in more than 60 Speakers & the who’s-who of the BFSI Sector.

This positive feedback from the Bankers as well as from the supply side, about the event, has encouraged the announcement of the 3rd Edition of IBEX INDIA in January 2014. IBEX INDIA 2014 is now being organised from the 23 – 25 January 2014, at MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, India.

Day 1, January 23, 2014

Plenary Session

• Leveraging Hi- Tech Technology for a Hi-Touch Banking Experience

Modern Indian consumers are comfortable communicating with their financial providers using technology such as SMS, email or video.

• Building a Financial Fortress for Tomorrow

It cannot be denied that corollary to the growth of technology, security breaches have become more widespread and more sophisticated.

• Race for New Banking Licenses: Opportunities and Challenges

There are more juggernauts in the race! The presence of new banks is largely perceived as a welcome step towards propagating financial inclusion.

Session 2: Panel Discussion on "Unproven yet Promising Technologies"

Most banking innovations in the recent past have been under the ambit of technology. Regulatory frameworks, competition and the need for greater efficiency have driven rapid adoption of technology pervading across all functions of the banking spectrum.

Session 3: Panel Discussion On "Mobile Strategy – Moving From Collaboration To Co –Creation"

The dynamism in the mobile space, across various areas of mobile banking, mobile payments or mobile wallet, is predominantly reflected in the banking sector.

Session 4: Panel Discussion on "The Next Generation in Payment Infrastructure"

The payment industry in India is highly fragmented and there is a need for a more seamless infrastructure.

Session 5: Panel Discussion On "Physical Security: Foreseeing the Unseen-Strategies for Organizational Resilience"

Under the ambit of security, physical security is arguably one of the most neglected areas.

Day 2, January 24, 2013

Session 6: Keynote Address: Managing change in a dynamic environment

The fact that rapid change is happening in the industry and more is on the cards is well acknowledged.

Session 7: Panel Discussion On "Proactive Customer Engagement"

In today's hyper-paced environment, where customers neither have the time to elucidate their needs nor meet relationship managers from banks, real time solutions form the key to customer engagement.

Session 8: Panel Discussion On "New Benchmarks In Retail Banking"

Retail banking is going through tumultuous times as banks adopt a mix of strategies like organic growth, acquisitions and alliances. Indian PSBs and a few private players are aggressive in retail banking while several foreign banks have been unable to fully leverage this high growth sector.

Session 9: Panel Discussion on "Transforming Customer Experience through Alternate Channels"

Alternate channels in the recent past have proven to be one of the most potent business drivers in the growth of the Banking Sector.

Session 10: Panel Discussion On Emerging Growth Avenues for Co-operative Banks: How Can Technology Help ?
