We see over 100 advertisements per day which tell us how we should look - flawless skin, flowing hair, hourglass figure, etc. "Body" becomes infinitely more important than "Being". It becomes part of our every-day thought, influences actions & impacts self-esteem.
But does body equal to beauty?
What IS beauty? What are our beliefs on beauty?
How strongly does society, culture & especially media influence our beliefs of beauty?
I AM ENOUGH is an interactive workshop,for men & women, which will throw light on how we relate & behave with our body. It will discuss the effects of body image on self-esteem, health & emotions. And explore ways to respect & love our body, just the way it is.
"If tomorrow women woke up & decided they really liked their bodies, just think how many industries would go out of business" ;-)
