Hyderabad Youth Swimming Championship - 2018

The aim of the event is to encourage the youth of Hyderabad to develop an awareness about the importance of being healthy and fit through the medium of swimming.

The people behind this swimming competition are passionate and professional swimmers and life saver, certified from American Red Cross Water Safety, Rashtriya Life Saving Society (India), and National Institute of Sports, Sports Authority of India with a decade long experience in the field of Aquatics, Physical Education and Sports Science. 

So, join us at 6:00 am on 22^nd April, 2018 for an Exciting Day of Swimming!

Kindly Note:

• Last date for the submission of the entry is 17th April, 2018
• On the spot registration starts from 6 am with Rs. 200/- extra fee.
• Event starting time 7 am.

Championship Aids

1. The Winner, Runner Up and Third Place will be awarded Medals while the Best Swimmer (Male and Female) in each age group category will be awarded a Trophy as well.
2. All Participants will get Snacks, Certificate* and Participation Medal*.
3. T-shirt & participation medal will be provided on registration till 17^th April, 2018 only.

*Participation medal & certificate will not be given to position holders.

Criteria for Meet

ELIGIBILITY TO COMPETE IN HYDERABAD YOUTH SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP – 2018

1. Swimmers will not be allowed to take part if he/she is a medalist in an individual event at any State, Zonal, National and International meet. 

2. The Championships will be held for Boys & Girls in accordance with FINA and S.F.I. Rules.

3. Swimmers participating in the meet may represent only one Club / School. i.e. swimmers will not be allowed to participate in events and relays from both their school & club simultaneously.

4. All participants should swim in their proper swimming attire.

5. Entry Fees:

a)    registration fees per head Rs. 600/-

b)    Entry fees Rs. 300/- per event to be paid at the venue

c)    Entry fees Rs 1200/- Relay events tobe paid at the venue

6. Details of the Names of the Competitors, Date of Birth, Age Group and details of the events along with their timings is mandatory while filing nominations.

7. The Age Certificate duly signed by the Head of the Educational Institution “OR” First Class Magistrate “OR” Municipal Corporation must be submitted along with the nomination entries to the organisers.

8. Events will be held only on “TIME TRIAL” basis.

9. Decision of the Referee is Final and the organisers shall not entertain any protests. 

1. Organisers will not be responsible for any accident that may occur during competition.

2. Participants can register themselves the following respective venues and communicate at the reception desk:

a) Dolphin Swimming Pool, Gachibowli

b) Narmada Rasoi, Beside Bharat Petroleum, Hyderguda, Basheer Bagh (Timing:12pm –             3.30pm and 7.30pm – 10.30pm)

3. On the spot registrations are allowed with extra fee of Rs. 200/- for each participate.

1. AGE GROUPS (SWIMMING):-

• GP – I Boys & Girls: above 15 &16yrs.( Born between 1/1/2002 to 2003)
• GP – II Boys & Girls: 13 & 14 yrs.(Born between 1/1/2004 to 31/12/2005)
• GP – III Boys & Girls: 11 & 12 yrs.(Born between 1/1/2006 to 31/12/2007)
• GP - IV Boys & Girls: 9 & 10 yrs. (Born between 1/1/2008 to 31/12/2009)
• GP - V Boys & Girls: 8 yrs. (Born between 1/1/2010 & 31/12/2011)
• GP - VI Boys & Girls: 6 yrs. (Born between 1/1/2012 & Below)

2. Swimming Events (BR: Breast Stroke, BK: Back Stroke, BF Butter Fly, FS: Free Style, IM: Individual Medley, FSR: Free Style Relay)
