The Hyderabad Queer Swabhimana Yatra is an annual march of queer people and their allies. It is an event that celebrates lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) culture and pride. As a minority that is largely marginalized, oppressed and forced into hiding by society, this march is an annual opportunity to rebel against societal repression, reach more people, educate them and fight for fundamental human rights.
We invite everyone to show solidarity by marching with us on February 19, 2017, in what will be Hyderabad's fifth such demonstration for equality, love, and understanding.
