Professor Rubin Russin is currently the head of Screenwriting Department in the University of California, Riverside. Robin Russin wrote the screenplay of Steven Seagal's Hollywood blockbuster action film ''On Deadly ground". He wrote the original pilot episode of "Of Kings and Prophets". He directed "When I Sing", an independent film, which won the People's Choice Award at the 2018 Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival, and the Remi Special Jury Award for the best low budget feature at the 2018 Worldfest, Houston Film Festival.
