Hampi is famous as the magnificent city of ruins and is located besides the Tungbhadra River. A trip to Hampi is a great insight into the history and tourist attractions which indicate the artistic excellence and power of the then rulers of Hampi. Hampi was the capital of renowned kingdom of Vijaynagar Empire of 14th century to 16th century. Hampi is regarded as one of the most wonderful in ruins of India and is in the list of World Heritage Centre.
Brief Itinerary:
Day 0 (Friday):
07:00 PM – Board a bus from Hyderabad (MGBS) to Hospet
Day 1 (Saturday):
03:00 AM – Reach Hospet, take an auto to Hampi
06:00 AM – Trek to Sunset Point
09:00 AM – Freshen up and have breakfast
10:00 AM – Go to Hippie Island and campsite
12:00 PM – Have lunch
01:00 PM – Go to Sanapur Lake for boating
05:00 PM – Return to Campsite for sunset
07:00 PM – Explore Hippie Island Market
08:30 PM – Have dinner
09:30 PM – Campfire and fun activities
Day 2 (Sunday):
06:00 AM – Wake up, freshen up and have early breakfast
09:00 AM – Explore Hampi on bicycles
04:00 PM – Leave for Hospet from Hampi
06:00 PM – Board bus back to Hyderabad
Day 3 (Monday):
06:00 AM – Reach Hyderabad and Sayonara
