Day1
Arrive at Tropical Rain Farm stay at 4pm.
Freshen up and rest for an hour, have coffee and proceed for:
Option 1: Plantation tour around the farm consisting more than 100 species of flora and fauna and trek to Dolmen circles on top of Coffee and Spices plantation. Dolmen circles are monolithic tombs dating back to Neolithic age. It is one of its kinds in India and similar such tombs are present in Korea and Northern Europe.
Option 2: : Visit Honnamma Lake and temple. With historic importance and trek to Gavi betta, visit the cave en-route and watch sunset from the top.
Return to the farm-stay. Enjoy some homemade wine and relax by the bon-fire, have dinner and rest.
Day2
Start early for Kumaraparvata trek. Pick up from the Farm stay at 6AM in the Jeep. Jeep will drop you at Beedalli check post by 7AM. Start the trek by 7:30 AM. Spot various species of Birds like Grey and Malabar Pied Hornbills, Cylon frogmouth, etc and plant species native to Western Ghats of India on the way to the peak. Have packed breakfast in one of the view spots and proceed to the peak.
After reaching the peak visit the eco point and Anikal Betta.
Have lunch on top of one of the hills and return to Beedalli check post. Take a jeep ride back to the farm-stay and have dinner and rest.
Day3
Have breakfast, check out from Farm stay and leave to Bangalore.
Package include: Dinner on the day of arrival, packed breakfast and lunch on the day of trek, dinner and breakfast on check out date.
Jeep ride to and from Beedalli check post to Farm stay.
Guide for the trek.
Kids can be accompanied by parents.
Tropical Rain can be accessed from Bangalore through Mysore leading up to Somwarpet or through Channaraipatna leading up to Shanivarsanthe.
