GPS and Online Map Training for Drivers

Gone are the days when we used to stop vehicles by road side and enquire about the route to a destination and waited for a sunny day to make a trip. We dared to travel to unknown places for want of native language skills and were also worried about someone misleading us.

Thanks to Technology and Global Positioning System (aka GPS). With your GPS enabled mobile phone any place in the earth is under your control. Fuel and speed remain the only constraints.

Come and attend the Computer Society of India organized one week hands on training program for vehicle drivers including Auto Rickshaw, Taxi, Bike, Truck etc on Global Positioning System and various Online Map services.

Participants will get hands on feel on usage of these services and help them cover miles in least cost and timely manner.

Participants are expected to bring their mobile phones with GPS and internet connection. They can also bring other such handheld devices for the demo.

Cost of the program is Rs.50 for 10 minutes.
