The Cultural Education Services (CES) division of ISKCON Bangalore is pleased to present Gita Fest 2019, a spiritually surcharged Inter-School Literary, Oratory and Art Competitions for students from Pre-Nursery to Class X.

The program is being organized to commemorate Gita Jayanti, a festival celebrated annually the world over with immense fervor. This is the auspicious day on which the confidential transcendental knowledge of the Bhagavad-gita was revealed to Arjuna by the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna Himself. This year the festival is being celebrated on 18th December.

The Fest offers an opportunity for children to present their understanding of the sublime message of Bhagavad-gita by participating in a host of events centered on the theme of the holy scripture.

1. Literary Events

Meaningful articulation of knowledge imbibed from the Bhagavad-gita can pave the way for a strong foundation in the formative years of a child.

2. Oratory Events

The events offer children a platform to showcase their eloquence in reciting Bhagavad-gita slokas.

3. Art Events

Art is a medium of self-expression. The contests are aimed at constructively engaging the artistic and creative faculties of children.

4. Vatsalya Events

The event offers parents an opportunity to team-up with their child and recite the Bhagavad-gita slokas as a family.
