"Giripremi" is one of the pioneer mountaineering clubs in India. Since inception in 1982, club members had scaled more that 30 Himalayan mountains including Mt. Shivling, Mt. Nun, Mt. Jaonli, Mt. Sikanth, Mt. Satopanth, Mt. Friendship, Mt. Bhagirathi 2, Mt. Hanuman Tibba etc in Indian Himalaya.
Apart from that club members had scaled some of world's highest mountains including Mt. Everest (world's highest), Mt. Lhotse (world's 4th highest), Mt. Makalu (world's 5th highest), Mt. Cho Oyu (world's 6th highest), Mt. Dhaulagiri (world's 7th highest). It is the only club in India to scaled 5 eight thousanders.
Giripremi is organising a photography exhibition of the photos captured during various Himalayan Expeditions over the past 5 years. All of this photos are from very remote and inaccessible Himalayan mountains.
You'll get to see this amazing clicks, no one in the world can probably have this clicks.
Apart from that we will be displaying some climbing equipment also. So please do visit the venue with your friends and family. And you can also have talk with few of finest mountaineers of Pune.
P.s. This exhibition is arranged to support our upcoming expedition to Mt. Kun (7077meters) in Leh. So exhibition will also have the section of Leh to promote Leh tour which we are planning for adventure enthusiasts.
