Discover a secret campsite in the forests of Chikmagalur to unwind yourself and satisfy your adrenaline rush for the long weekend. We start the trek from the base camp by taking a splash in the waterfalls. Get ready to take a good bath by standing below the falls and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the hills.
Head to the paddy fields and be a part of nature treasure hunt to explore the village and learn about organic farming.
At night, learn how to pitch your tents while enjoying the sunset at the Kudremukh peak view and cozy up near the bonfire under the starry night. Pounce on the authentic delicious village style dinner and enjoy the night filled with music and lots of campfire games. Next day, trek to the banks of Yagachi River in Belur and explore the historical Hoysala temple.
So, slip into your trek pants, lace up your hiking shoes and pack your bags, as we head to conquer the mighty Kudremukh forest this long weekend.
Itinerary:
Day 0: Fri, 29th Sep:
9:30 pm : Leave from Bangalore to campsite
Day 1: Sat, 30th Sep:
6:00 am : Reach Didupe. 1 km trek to Campsite.
7:00 am : Breakfast will be served
8: 30 am : Freshen up and start the trek to the waterfalls
6:30 pm : Return to base camp. Pitch Tent
7:30 pm : Dinner is served near bonfire followed by campfire games
Day 2: Sun, 1st Oct:
7:00 am : Breakfast
8:00 am : Clean up at the campsite and leave to Belur for exploration
11:00 am : Wind up and leave for Bangalore
6:00 pm: Reach Bangalore
Required:
1. Backpack
2. 3 liters of water
3. Sturdy Shoes for trek
4. Slippers
5. Swim clothes
6. Lightweight pants (no shorts, skirts or jeans!)
7. Rain coat
8. Extra pair of clothes and socks
