Full stack Web Development Workshop

Overview

This is a workshop to help participants understand how a MEAN stack application works.Students will go through concepts of creating front-end with AngularJS that responds to the backend environment with NodeJS,they also go through basic operation with MongoDB carried out at back-end with help of Mongoose library.Overall aim of the workshop is to build your first real time interactive webapplication.

The workshop will start with Introduction to MEAN stack and web application setup and project architecture,then we will give introduction to technologies that we are going to use and how they are suitable for building web application,then coming to front-end angularJS with Typescript is used,various topics like angular routing,services and working with components,concepts such as two-way data binding,angular material and Observables,rxjs will be discussed.when Backend session starts various concepts like express routing,sessions and Nodemailer,multer will be discussed and concentrating on working with REST API’s,with database CRUD operations using Mongoose library.

What do you get out of this course ?

Participants will know about what is MEAN stack and They will get a brief of all the components used in developing a web application.Introduction to various new libraries that are used in front-end and back-end for faster and efficient development of the application.They can get to know how to create and work with REST API’s,create various services and components and working with database called MongoDB which is also called as NoSQL.They also come to know how amazing a MEAN stack developer career path is.

Pre-requisites

• Basic knowledge about HTML,CSS,JAVASCRIPT
• Laptops mandatory

Installations

• NodeJS
• Create a GitHub account - It's free and awesome!
• Install a text editor - Make sure you have a text editor installed on your computer. A couple good free ones are Atom, Sublime or visual studio code is recommended.
