The Den invites you to Friday Blues @ Layla, Bengaluru where you dive into a night of soulful music with best views of the city’s skyline. Starting this Friday, the 9th of August, our rooftop restaurant Layla brings you Friday blues and Jazz nights. Join us to delve into the spirit of love and freedom and dive into a night dedicated to these legends.
9th of August - A night of the Blues
At A Night of the Blues, we will transport you to the intimate space of an open air rooftop restaurant on the 21st floor. The breath-taking location of the rooftop restaurant makes it an ideal place for a high and fun filled dining experience with the sky view as the Chronic blues circus plays an exciting mix of both a concert taking us on a journey throughout Blues’ history and a mini-musical, Crossroads. A few originals the band will cover include Muddy waters, John Mayall, T bone walker, Howling Wolf, Little Milton, Eric Clapton.
16th of August – Kalyuga Blues
Kalyuga blues are a series of original songs written about topics that are gripping the city of Bangalore like concrete jungle, mobile phones, but conveyed in a musical way. The songs convey contemporary issues of concrete jungle, mobile blues, cops and the robbers, money, love, Bye Bye Bangalore to name a few. A night dedicated to forever young souls of Bangalore, for Bangalore, by Bangalore.
23rd of August - Tribute to Bob Dylan

30th of August - A tribute to Freedom - Bob Marley
Romanticizing freedom enjoy Jamaican-influenced beverages mixed with the smooth tunes of Bob Marley. The Chronic blues circus will take you through the journey of this legend, showcasing his life and career. Come pay tribute to Marley and his spirit for love and freedom, which were so important to him.
